" I can't believe it! I'm speechless," said owner Guðrún Kristmundsdóttir yesterday when Fréttablaðið called her. Bæjarins bestu was beaten to the first place by a travelling Scottish porridge stand. " It's hilarious that porridge was in first place," laughed Guðrún, whose hot dog stand is the city's busiest fast-food venue, especially late at night on weekends. Guðrún added that Bill Clinton's visit to the hot dog stand two years ago really upped the reputation of the place . " Now lots of famous people stop by.
